Update 29/9

I've settled my payment for the shoes and clothes already.

All that's left is a wig and my doll.

What a pity. The pinkish-red fur wig I wanted off Sunny's World's sold out :(

I'm considering the orange one now.

But I so badly want the red one T-T

Doll Modifications

I'm having body modification woes for my dollfie now :(

Shuii is a really good face-up artist, but I doubt she has the time to complete my boy's face up in time for EOY.

But anyway, I think Meeve does great face-ups herself too :D

This is her doll, Karasu.

He looks really gorgeous doesn't he?

I want my doll to have eyeliner like that but minus the eyelash looking lines on his bottom eyelid > <

I want his eyebrows to look a little thinner too =X

I hope Meeve will agree to do my boy's face up.
She isn't very confident of her skills right now but I'm sure she'll do well ^-^

Aren't those piercings awesome?

I have yet to decide how many piercings I want for my boy and where on the lips would those piercings be. I would love for him to have a naval pierce too!

But sadly, I've not heard of any "dollfie-piercers" situated in Singapore yet :(

And lastly, I want a tattoo on the back of my doll :D

I want this to go just below his shoulders~

I'm not sure if I want to include this design as well so that he'd have a tattoo that covers nearly his whole back.

1 is suppose to join the second tattoo at 2. I know, I don't have photoshop =.=

Hoping to get someone to print the tattoo designs for me so that I can play around with its size and position =\

Group orders

Ah. It's been long since I've last posted anything here. I just didn't have the time T^T

But anyway, I've got my mind set on buying these few items through sg_sd's Dollmore batch order:

- Barista Story Outfit for SD sized male
- 1.5cm black leather belt
- Black socks
- Cirgarette
- blue eyes

All this is going to cost me about 146.60 SGD without shipping.
I'm setting aside about 11 SGD for shipping.

Himeko has also kindly opened a Luts group order.

I have set my eyes on this pair of shoes which can be used for both casual and formal wear.

It costs 64 SGD without shipping and I will be paying her the deposit tomorrow ^-^

On a more random note,

I can finally purchase Souldoll eyes without having to join in any Souldoll group orders here.

Shipping only costs 2.15 USD!

That's really much much better than ordering directly from Souldoll- shipping costs about 22 SGD!

Also, I found really nice hoodies here .

Sadly, alot of them are already sold out :(

Panic! At the wardrobe

I can't decide if Dollmore should wait.

I have two sets of clothes I want to order from there and they'd cost me over $200.

But I really want the waiter outfit for my boy to go along in for EOY Cosfest.

And the kimono! Instead of the normal PJs set, I want my boy to sleep in a kimono! ^-^

Dang. I'm afraid that they'd run out of stock and not restock in time for EOY T^T

But anyways, found some clothes from Sunny's World that I would like to order as a cheaper alternative if I can't get my boy clothes on time:

Beanie - 15 SGD

Okay, it's not really my priority but since there are other stuff I want to get from the site, I might want to get the beanie if I have enough moolah. It's cheaper than those from official BJD companies and it's plain!

Rabbit hoodie - 38 SGD

Prolly one of the few cute things I would like my boy to have ^-^
Koda's Haruto has one of these in a different print and I quite like how it looks.
Planning to get the one in tartan though.

Cargo pants - 28 SGD

I so love this pair of pants. It's very reasonable for it's price too. But I can't decide if I want it black or white T^T

Shipping Fee - about 15 SGD

Total - about 96 SGD

Pretty reasonable eh? Compared to 34 USD shipping fees elsewhere =\

http://eng.cotindoll.com/front/bin/ptdetail.phtml?Part=ACW0391Bt39&Category=101052

Free shipping! :D

Well duh, I only want to order a wig = ="

And it seems like the only item I like ther =/

More wigs!

I found affordable wigs that I really like!

http://www.kondoll.com/

This wig reminds me of Gackt ^-^

I love these wigs!

There's a black one too but the link they gave to it was wrong = ="

The blonde one's sold out though :(

I really hope they put it back up for sale anytime soon. I really love the blonde one!

Wig woes

I like this wig and I do intend to get it.

But I don't know what colour eyes would match the colour of the wig T^T

I love this wig too~

If SOOM happens to have the Wine coloured wig in stock anytime soon, I'll get it together with the milk one ^-^

Dollmore for Adrian

My dollfie's going to come naked so I decided to order some clothes from Dollmore during the time my dollfie is being shipped.

Barista Story - 110 SGD

I SOOOOO WANT THIS!

Now Adrian can go around prancing in a Silly God Disco-like outfit during EOY Cosfest with me :D

But the waiter outfit only comes in hound size T^T

Guess I'll have to look around somemore :\

Male Kimono - 104 SGD

Ive decide to have Adrian dress in this when he's around the house.
Makes a pretty good set of pajamas too ^-^
Now if only they sold sandals..

I couldn't find any casual clothes and a wig that I really liked from Dollmore, so I guess I'd prolly order them from somewhere else.

Other things in my list from Dollmore includes:

- a pair of blue acryllic eyes
- a pair of grey acryllic eyes
- a cigarette

I'd prolly need to set aside about 160 SGD for shopping at Dollmore.

Off to find more clothes elsewhere~

Planning for the first doll

Argh! I'm having alot of problems choosing which doll I want to get as my first doll. I wish I had enough money to get two now. Well I had, but.. Oh well :\

Right now, I've decide on an Abio Angel Er as my first doll.

Lovely isn't he?

Well, he won't look as gorgeous when he arrives. He'd prolly look something like this:

Not very dashing is he?

Gyurhh. I'm having problems visualizing the face-up for my dollfie too T^T

I don't want my Er to have the cute and innocent look, I want him ravishing :D

And perhaps.. a little dark?

But I don't think his mold suits the dark look so.. oh well.

I'd prolly keep his eyes the same as in the picture but have the lips be of darker colour and change the eyebrows.

Tattoos and a lip piercing! I've been dwelling on that too. But somehow I feel that Er doesn't really suit the bad-boy look. I'll see how after he's done with his face-up and complete with a proper wig ^-^

The eyes! Yes! I'm definitely getting the same blue coloured ones in the picture. Those blue eyes are love!

I've set a target for myself. And this time, I'm going to follow it proper. No more wasting of me money on nonsense! D:

My target this time is to order my doll by the end of this month along with Meg. She's either getting an Er or San ^-^

And.. I've already named by boy :P

His name would be..

ADRIAN KAI SIR HO

Adrian was inspired by a character from Little Nicky played by Rhys Ifan.
Kai was inspired by one of the members of The Gazette.
Sir Ho was inspired by my friend Eddie's chinese name =3

I'm planning to get a second boy and call him Adriel but I'll save that for another time :)

Dollfie Fund for Adrian now stands at 20/300 SGD

Adrian's got a new hobby

Gyaaarh, it seems that Blogger screwed up my old blog account so I have to make myself a new ID.

Firstly, I am a girl; and I call myself Adrian.

After chancing upon Yami's little blog for her interest in BJDs, I decided to make one for myself too ^^

Recently, I've been into Ball-Jointed Dolls or BJDs. They're dolls, but unlike your usual Barbies and Kens, they're bigger, more bisshier and you can customize them whenever you want to suit your liking. In short, BJDs are love =3

:D

I can't remember whose doll this is but it reminds me alot of Adriel!

I can't wait to get myself a BJD. I HAD a dollfie fund of about $400 but I spent it all on clothes (and what not) that I didn't really like after having bought them!

- slaps self -

I hope I'm able to be firm with myself and stop splurging my money. Having a BJD is an expensive hobby.

Hobby?

Yes it's a hobby. Like you play with Barbies and Kens, you do the same with your BJD. And it is expensive because a doll can cost from $300 to over $1000 - and that's without clothes, a desired wig and a pair of eyes.

Firstly, you'd prolly want to get a good camera to take pictures of your BJDs with. Yes, you get yourself a BJD for camwhoring! It's like a photoshoot. And you can even make photo stories with your BJD.

Secondly, you'd prolly not like the way your BJD looks like when it first arrives - without any form of face up and a desired wig and pair of eyes.

And then of course, you would need to get him or her some clothes!

Now here comes the expensive part:

A face-up (otherwise known as 'make-up') would cost at least $50 without body-sanding.

You would probably get bored with having only one set of clothes for your BJD, so naturally you'd want more. So you'll need more $ to get more clothes! D:

Next, you'd prolly want to get props for your BJD to take photos with. For me, I've decided on a guitar or two and a sofa.

Yes all these are not cheap.

Clothes can range for $20 to over $150 a piece. Not forgetting the accessories you might want your BJD to have. If you can sew, good for you. But unfortunately, I can't :(

A guitar would prolly cost about $75 and a sofa ranges from $200 and above.

And also, eventually, you might also want to get yourself another BJD!

Expensive yes; but interesting hobby I'd say.

BJDs are like family. You treat your dolls with the love, care and respect like you would do another human.

They're more than just your typical Barbies and Kens.
